Motivation to Stop Dieting and Start Living With The HCG Diet Plan

Do you need motivation to eat right and diet and exercise while on the HCG diet? Have you constantly been "starting over?" Are you sick of this endless cycle? I know how it is. I figured out how to end this frustrating cycle and produced the physical results I would only dream of before. I found out how to have lasting motivation to eat healthy and diet and exercise and build you HCG Body for Life. Let me show you how.
If you want a great weight loss/diet/exercise program, I recommend the highly popular HCG Boyd for Life Program It's pretty intense but the results are awesome if you actually stick to the program.
My Struggle and Triumph
For years, I would start a diet and diet and exercise routine only to "take a break" and start over again several months later. I would diet and exercise for about 2-3 months, not see much as far as results, and stop. Once I got too out of shape, I would get determined to start dieting and working out again only to stop a few months later. This went on for about 7-10 years. Does this sound familiar?
Fortunately, this all changed about 2 1/2 years ago when I started applying these strategies I'm about to share with you.
Just so you know, unlike most people, my challenge wasn't only to lose weight, it was to also to regain my health by lowing my blood pressure, reverse my sleep apnea, and to prevent the eventual onset of Diabetes. Growing up I was always thin and athletic.
So what happened? How come I kept failing to keep up with a diet and diet and exercise-routine for almost 10 years? Wouldn't being overweight, and having all these health problems or seeing both of your parent's diet of Diabetes related organ failure be enough motivation to stick with a weight loss plan? Apparently not.
It wasn't until I did the things I'm about to tell you that I went from struggling just to lose a few pounds a year to losing 42lbs of fat and gained tons of muscle in less than 6 weeks. By the way, I didn't do anything different than what I outline in my book How to Feel Good Naked in 26 Days.
Now if your motivation to diet and exercises to lose weight, don't worry, this will work for you as well. In terms of weight loss motivation, the same principles will apply. Losing weight just comes down to knowing what to do and doing it.
I won't be writing about what I ate or what diet and exercise routine I used. You can find out what you should be eating to lose weight online. What I'll be writing about is the mental changes that took place and the strategies I used to make working out become a habit. So lose weight or gain weight, the same strategies will apply.
Let me start with the main reasons why people have trouble with having the motivation to Diet and exercise in the first place.
Why Some People Stop Dieting and Working Out and Why This Time May Be Different.
The problem with most diets and exercise regiments, for most people is that after some time, the motivation to diet and exercise dries out. The following are the most common reasons:
Wrong strategy
With so much information out there, this really shouldn't be a problem. The basic formula to lose weight eat less calories than you burn or burn more calories than you eat. To gain weight, it's the opposite. If you have the motivation to stick to the diet and workouts everyday but eat more calories than you burn, you're going to be disappointed. Follow the protocol to the letter, and you'll be amazed at the results you receive weekly.
As long as you don't buy into those quick-results-with-no-work-and-eating-foods-off-protocol, you should be fine.
Lack of results
Too many people start this protocol expecting the same results and their friend or family member got, sometimes with the expectation of the same exact amazing result in too short of a time span can be unrealistic. So when results don't meet up to their expectations, they get discouraged and quit.
Slowed progress
Thinking that your results will stay consistent will just end up disappointing you. In the beginning, you may have some great results. You may lose 5-10 pounds your very first week. But as the weeks go by, you will find yourself losing less and less. Not knowing this in advance can be very discouraging when it happens.
Hitting a plateau
When you start the HCG Body for life system, your results will be very encouraging. Your motivation to diet and exercise will increase as you see these amazing results. However, sooner or later, you will hit what's known as a plateau. Athletes experience this all the time. You get to the point where results not only slow down, it actually stops. This can definitely be pretty frustrating.
Satisfaction
This is when you get to the point where you've loss enough weight to where you feel satisfied. You're not where you want to be at but it's not bad enough for you to want to do much about it. At this point, your motivation to continue with the protocol may drop since your reason for dieting and working out is no longer strong enough. You may stop working out all together until your body gets to a point where it causes your motivation to increase again and you start to diet once again.
All of the above reasons that cause most people to quit working out happened to me over the years and have caused my motivation to diet and exercise deteriorate, but I've figured out how to overcome all of them. So let me share those strategies with you now.

How to Have Lasting Motivation to Workout
1. Have the right mindset
Without the right mindset, you will be facing unnecessary difficulties. Realize that anything worth striving for will be challenging. Go into this with massive determination and focus.
When you take this seriously, your motivation to follow the protocol will automatically increase. Have the mentality of a warrior. Know that internal enemies will constantly try to stop you, those internal voices that tell you to quit. Be prepared for battle and take them down.
2. Have Intense Desire
If you're merely interested in losing weight, it's going to be difficult to do it long enough for it to be a habit. Your desire to diet, exercise and get the body you want has to be greater than any reason that may come up to make you quit.
Write down why you want to lose weight and get back in shape. Why do you want to lose that weight? Why do you want to be fit? The more reasons you have that hit you emotionally, the greater your desire will be.
My motivation to diet and exercise was that I just hated being skinny. I also wanted to inspire others by succeeding in this goal. If I could do it, they could do it. But more importantly, I had to prove to myself that I had the mental abilities to push myself through any challenge that tried to stand in my way. I was sick of failing to accomplish this goal.
3. Find Inspiration
Watch videos or talk to people who have achieved the fitness goals that you're pursuing. When you see or hear story after story of people just like you who were able to transform their body, you will begin to have faith and confidence that you can do the same.
I remember watching the movie SWAT over and over again, because I admired how ripped up LL Cool J was in the movie... It made me want to and believe that is was possible to look like that once again. . My motivation to follow the diet plan and diet and exercise was through the roof.
Another thing you can do is to do this protocol and workouts with a friend or group of friends. Now, keep in mind that it's important to pick someone who has a strong desire. If you have a lazy friend, well, I'm sure you know how that'll go.
4. Understand The Why
One of the things I did that really helped was instead of just going blindly into this diet program or diet and exercise-regimen, I studied why I needed to do the things I needed to do. I read books on how the human body works as well as how nutrition works. By understanding WHY you have to do what you need to do, you're more likely to do it because you understand the importance of it.
It's easy to skip a critical step just because you don't fully understand the reasoning behind it. If I told you, to lose weight, you have to eat more frequently but didn't tell you why, you might not do it since it may not make sense to you.
It's not a must that you study the why behind everything, but it will definitely help.
5. Prepare for Excuses
Excuses will come up. Just know that it will and things will be a lot easier. For instance, I knew that having to wake up early in the morning, when it's cold and rainy outside, just to go to the gym and diet and exercise would be a challenge. I knew that when I get together with friends and family, there would be the urge to eat whatever fatty foods they were eating. (I gained weight through cutting out fats and all unhealthy foods in order to gain healthy weight.)
When your motivation to diet and exercise is high, your mindset is different. You will get yourself to diet and exercise regardless of what's holding you back. But during those times when your motivation to sleep or do something else is greater than your motivation to workout, you need to be prepared to deal with it by coming up with what you'll do before it actually comes up.
What I did was write down a list of as many things that I could think of that would prevent me from either wanting to diet and exercise or eat the right foods. Then I came up with what I would do when those things (excuses) came up. I knew what to do when my mind said, "It's so cold right now, just stay in bed, you can diet and exercise later" or "skipping one diet and exercise won't make a difference". I was prepared.
You MUST be prepared to deal with these excuses when they come up.
6. Prepare for Setbacks
Your progress won't be a straight diagonal line. It will slow down or even go in reverse at times. You may lose several pounds every week for a few weeks, then lose less for a few weeks, then lose none for a few weeks, and then gain a few pounds for a few weeks. Know that this is normal otherwise your motivation to diet and exercise may suffer.
I remember the week when I weighed myself and found that I actually lost a pound. Had I not been prepared for this, I may have been discouraged. But since I knew this would happen, it just made me more focused and determined.
When this happens, don't get discouraged. This is where many people quit. Don't let it happen to you. Keep going. Your progress will eventually turn back in your favor.
7. Preparation of Post Diet Meals
One of the reasons why people will tend to overeat is because they are not prepared. I loved eating fast food and junk food. But since I made a commitment to changing my lifestyle, working out and eating healthy, I had to cut all of that out. My eating schedule was pretty straight forward.
I ate 6 meals a day, one every 3 hours. In the past, when it came time to eat, I would normally just make something and eat it. I found that this doesn't work very well because there are many times when I don't know what to eat and end up going to a fast food joint to grab a burger.
So what I did to prevent that was to prepare my meals in advance. Basically, I knew what I was going to eat for each of the 6 meals every day and prepared my meals to the point where all I had to do was heat up the food in the microwave and presto.
I set up my eating situation where it was easy. Even when at work, when meal time came... heat up food, eat. No thinking was involved, and that's why it worked. Protein shakes or meal replacements help when eating a meal isn't convenient.
For losing weight, the same strategy applies. If you don't know in advance what you're going to eat, it will be easy and tempting to slip on your diet for "just one meal" and grab something you know you shouldn't be eating. Preparation is key.
8. Measure Your Progress
Measure your progress on a weekly basis. I'm not just talking about your weight. I'm talking your body fat, about your arms, waist line, thighs, shoulders, chest, and calves. Also, keep track of your workouts. How many sets, how much weight, how long you ran for, etc. By keeping a measurement of everything, your motivation to diet and exercise will increase as you see those results.
Don't be afraid to measure. Have confidence in yourself. You can do it. It just takes some time.
9. Anchor Feelings with Music and Celebration
Before I begin each workout, I always listened to a certain song. At the end of my diet and exercise I would listen to another song. The reason I did this was to anchor the anticipation of working out to the first song and anchor the feeling to celebration to the second song.
By doing this, whenever I'm not in the mood to diet and exercise but go anyways, listening to the first song will get me into the state of anticipation for an intense workout. When I'm done, listening to the second song will get me into the state of excitement. While I listen to that song, I celebrate in order to anchor those good feelings to not only the song but to working out.
The song you choose doesn't matter, what matters is the feeling it gives you.
10. Accept the New Lifestyle
You must accept this lifestyle change and be okay with it. Too often, people will start a diet and exercise-with the intention of it being a temporary task. In order to make it a habit, you have to go into this with the mentality of Fit for Life.
Before I began my diet and exercise and diet changes, I had to mentally be willing to make this a lifestyle change. I was willing to make the change because I made it clear in my mind that my new lifestyle is far more rewarding than my old lifestyle.
If this sounds like a big decision, well, it is. If you're not willing to give up the life of sitting on the couch being inactive and eating junk food all day, than you shouldn't be complaining about having low energy and a body that you don't see fit. The decision to diet and exercise on a regular basis for the rest of your life is one of the best choices you can make.
The Secret to Effortless and Lasting Motivation to Eat Health, and Exercise...

Make it a Habit
Do you think the people who consistently go to the gym have to struggle and force themselves to go each time? Fortunately, NO! Once you consistently diet and exercise long enough, your need for the motivation to diet and exercise becomes less. You will get to the point where you don't even have to think about it. Working out will become natural.
This will take time. So your goal is to do whatever it takes to stick to your diet and exercise long enough for it to become a habit. Some people say it takes 30 days to form a habit. For some habits, that's all it takes. It depends on the habit. For me, the habit of working out, where it's no longer a struggle, where no motivation to diet and exercise-is needed, took about 5-6 months.
If this sounds like a lot of hard work, then your desire just isn't strong enough. At first I didn't like it. After a while I got used to it. Now it's just a part of my life. In fact, if I don't exercise, I feel uneasy and awkward, like there's something missing in my life. Get to that point and you'll have a hard time NOT working out. That is your goal.
Conclusion
It all comes down to disciplining yourself until it becomes a habit. Do you have to do all the things I suggested above? No. What I discussed was what finally made it happen for me. All these strategies and tips are just to help you along the way.
The number one thing is having an intense desire. When your desire is strong enough, you'll find a way to reach your goal no matter what.
In the beginning, it will be difficult to get accustomed to this new lifestyle. You will be sacrificing time to go workout. You will be sacrificing unhealthy foods you used to eat on a daily basis. Realize that these sacrifices are necessary.
The good news is that once you start seeing results, your desire for the old unhealthy lifestyle will decrease. You will get to the point where nothing will taste as good as being fit feels. You will see others who have the inactive lifestyle you used to have and think, "Wow, this was all worth it."
Lastly, when you reach your goals, you inspire others to reach theirs. When I lost that 42 pounds, believe me, people who knew me when I was fat noticed. Even though most of them wanted to lose weight as well, seeing me lose the weight so quickly, gave them motivation to take the HCG Body 4 Life challenge, eat right, diet and exercise and reach their goals. Hopefully it has inspired you as well. And when you reach your fitness goals, hopefully others around you will be inspired by you and continue this ripple effect.
Do this for yourself and for your loved ones. This is one of the best habits that you can develop for your life.
Working out alone won't get you to the fitness level you want. Remember that at least 70% of the results come down to your diet. This program shows you want to eat as well.
Until next time...

HCG Diet-The Gutsy Diet for Those Who Want to Lose Fast

If you are interested in the HCG Diet, or if you have a friend or relative interested in doing the diet, here is a link to an article I just posted this week. This is more for those just getting interested in doing the diet and need to be inspired.

But it might also answer a few questions and get you motivated.

The Gutsy Diet for Those Who Want to Lose Fast, Once and For All:

I have had a lot of people write this past week with questions
about deviating from the diet.

It is so incredibly discouraging if you don’t lose every day. Losing every single day is the norm. You should lose at least ¼,1/2 to 1 pound per day.  The first week, even better.

If you are following the diet closely, as perfectly as possible, you may skip a day of losing at some point, but then it is most likely because your body is emptying out the fat cells and some fat cells can temporarily fill with water and water weighs more.

At least this is the explanation given by Dr. Simeons. He said in Pounds and Inches, that there may be days that you lose inches, but the scale stays the same because your body is absorbing old skin and blood vessels, etc.

I strongly suggest when you start out, that you do the Pounds and Inches diet as explained by Dr. Simeons, as closely as you can. If you want to make some adjustments later on, it may work out ok.

I just know that I personally have lost a lot of time trying things that didn’t work. I know how hard it is.

If you want to lose weight quickly for a special event or because you need the psychological boost to lose some weight fast, it is terrific. But it is one diet that is not very “forgiving” if you cheat or deviate even a little.

Here is a reminder of the original diet.  DrSimeonsProtocol.pdf

Breakfast:

Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours. Saccharin or Stevia may be used.

Lunch:

1. 450 grams of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp.  (See Protein Chart) All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw.

It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The
chicken breast must be removed from the bird.

2. Any combination of these types of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.

3. One breadstick (grissino) or one Melba toast.

4. An apple or a handful of strawberries or one-half grapefruit.

Dinner :

The same four choices as lunch. The juice of one lemon daily is allowed for all purposes. Salt,
pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, etc., may be used for seasoning, but no oil, butter or dressing.

Tea, coffee, plain water, or mineral water are the only drinks allowed, but they may be taken in any quantity and at all times. In fact, the patient should drink about 2 liters of these fluids per day.

Many patients are afraid to drink so much because they fear that this may make them retain more water. This is a wrong notion as the body is more inclined to store water when the intakefalls below its normal requirements.

The fruit or the breadstick may be eaten between meals instead of with lunch or dinner, but not more than four items listed for lunch and dinner may be eaten at one meal. I hope this helps for those who don’t have time to look up the original diet.

I personally find that the melba toast does help me with having a little crunch in my menu dishes, however, be careful not to eat more than prescribed in the diet protocol. You may not lose as fast with the breadstick or Melba toast, but some of you might want to eat it  anyway. It gives a sense of more food to the diet.

Feel free to write with any questions or hints to pass on to others.

Hcg_diet_safe

Patience and determination, these are some of the most important qualities that any weight loss aspirant should have to embody if they want to be successful in getting fit. However, let's admit that it's not easy to lose extra pounds especially in the case of obese individuals.

According to health experts, an individual is considered "obese" if he or she has more than 30 body mass index or BMI. On the other hand, you are considered overweight if your BMI is more than 25.

Aside from sedentary lifestyle, we can attribute the increasing rate of obesity in the US to fast food chains and unhealthy eating. This often results to numerous chronic ailments such as diabetes, colon cancer, cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

However, modern day living simply got better and losing weight fast is not a concern anymore because many overweight can always rely on the latest diet trends in the market. Apparently, one of the most in demand diet products today is HCG diet drops and injectables.

HCG Diet Plan: Miracle Diet of the Modern Times?

HCG diet is one of the most controversial and interesting weight loss protocol invented in the 1950s. It started as a medicine for malnourished children.

Now, it is considered as an optional diet routine for those who want to shed large number of pounds. It instantly became popular when everyone was raving about their HCG diet plan transformation over the internet, social networking sites and blogs.

On the other side of the fence, there are also doubts about the effectiveness of this diet protocol because many are calling it a fad.

But, for millions of overweight individuals whose lives were changed for the better, they consider HCG diet a miracle diet of the modern times. As what many successful HCG diet users said, this weight loss technique requires you in excluding unhealthy lifestyle and eating.

According to HCG diet tips that are circulating online, vitamins, minerals that are found in vegetables, fruits and other low-calorie food sources are very vital if you're planning to start your HCG diet journey.

You can also browse YouTube for different recipes and guide books that can effectively help you during the different phases of this diet. More so, you are also advised to attend consultation or online webinars because they provide constant motivation against relapse.

Are you worried about its side effects? Don't be discouraged. According to a reliable HCG diet seller online, headache, irritability and constipation are some of the side effects of HCG but this can only be experience during the early stage because it is an indication that your body is adjusting with the hormone.

If this occurs, don't forget to rehydrate yourself with a lot of water to avoid sneaking and craving over unnecessary foods. Just a friendly reminder, before you engage in HCG diet, it is highly suggested to undergo an initial check-up with an expert physician.

You should go to http://BuyHCG123.info/ and {buy hcg} now!

How To Eat Out On The HCG DIet

Eating out on the hCG diet can be a frightful experience. Often, when eating out, we are ill prepared for the dining occasion and results in failure to stick with the protocol. I would love to tell you NOT to go out to eat and to cook all of your meals. This is truly the best approach but it doesn't always work out like that. Due to "Life", it is difficult to avoid eating out while on the hCG Diet so here are some tips to help you avoid cheating and to stick with it. Sticking with it is so important. Losing days of weight loss is both frustrating and de-motivating.

Trust me I know! Plan in advance - Having an idea of what type of food the restaurant serves will let you know if you should even dine there. Preview the menu and choose the meal you are going to order BEFORE you get there. This will help with the temptation of ordering something that is way off the diet. Carry an Apple - What ever you choose while eating out on the hCG Diet will probably leave you a bit unsatisfied. There truly aren't many options for us hCG Dieters so I carry my apple to eat after my meal to prevent me from ordering something else.

Stick with the Salads - My recommendation is to order the restaurant's grilled chicken salad or grilled chicken Caesar Salad and hold the dressing and the croutons. Feel free to add tomatoes and onions, as this is the only mixture of vegetables you are allowed to have. Salads are extremely boring, I get that. It's okay. You know what your health future holds for your when you stick to the diet. Don't Give-In to Peer Pressure- The most difficult thing I've had to experience is someone offering you food that you know you can't eat. okay, listen. People are mean or they don't value what you value. Sometimes people don't understand your desire for a healthier lifestyle. Don't let others determine the future of your health and the future of your goal weight. Have A Good Time - This diet is not the easiest of diet protocols but it is effective.

Keep in mind your goals and why you decided it was time to lose weight. Don't let your limited dietary choices while eating out on the hCG diet get you down. Stay positive and realize that this small sacrifice will yield you a life long benefit. Realize that it's Psychological and Not Physiological - This is more geared to overall success of your diet but it applies because you are most vulnerable when eating out. From personal experience(I've done this protocol 5 times), I have realized that it's not my body that wants me to cheat on the diet, it's my mind. The cravings are mental because it's something I used to eat not something that body actually needs. When eating out, order something your body needs - sustenance.

Check out these restaurant/food recommendations- There are many places you can eat an approved meal. My "go-to" is Panera Bread. They have exactly what I just suggested. They keep "eating out" on the hCG diet simple. Try the Grilled Chicken Caesar(which is real chicken, not that nasty pressed chicken) Salad with the dressing on the side(so they don't look at you weirdly), hold the croutons and parmesan cheese and add tomatoes an onions. Panera is perfect because they have the correct portion of chicken needed for your meal. I have also recently found Jimmy John's. One of my website visitors suggested the Roast Beef "Unwich"; hold the mayo. It's simply a slice of roast beef, which is pretty lean, a couple of tomatoes, wrapped in lettuce.

To add flavor, have them put dijon mustard on it. It's only 90 Calories! Are you a fan of Sushi? Now be careful with this one. This can easily be over done due to you not knowing portion sizes from sushi house to sushi house. Stay conservative. When I visit the sushi house, I get the Sashimi, which is sushi with no rice and a salad with no dressing or with a half of lemon juice. Like I said before, the best option is to just not eat out at all. Choices are limited and may be frustrating. The hcg diet is challenging enough. But, sometimes we gotta do it. I know I do. So these are the choices I have made and so I'm passing my experiences on to you.

I am 54 yrs. old 5'10" and did weigh 273 lbs. and I have lost 16.6 pounds in 8 days.

HCgDeitRevealed.com Q & A

Q: Dear Colin,

I am very proud of your success and enjoy reading your articles. I am 54 yrs. old 5'10" and did weigh 273 lbs. Since i read your articles my wife and I have been using the HCG drops that you put under your tongue and following the eating plan. I have lost 16.6 pounds in 8 days. I can not believe this stuff!!! The thing I don't really understand is after I finish the first cycle I probably will have to do another one to reach my desired weight.

How long do I wait before I start the second cycle? I already feel much better and have set my mind to see this journey through. Another thing I am not sure is about working out. We have a gym at work and I have been working out with light weight and doing cardio. My worst fear I think is having loose skin. Is there a limit on working out or will it hinder a persons loosing weight?? Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks again,
Jimmy

A: Hello Jimmy and thank you for your email. Your question is a good one, and I get it often. I will share with you what I did, which some hard core hcg dieters my not agree with. I think this is because no one wants to deviate from the protocol in fear of the worse. I however have personally done this and it worked wonders. Your weight loss is inspiring, you should be very proud of yourself! Kudos!!!!!

If you are used to working out, then continue to do so in phase 2, however you will need to drop the intensity down a bit to make sure you never feel overly fatigued, hungry or tired. On occasion, if you work your muscle to hard, you will retain some water the very next day, but it will dissipate over the next 24 to 48 hours and you will make up for any slowed weight loss. In phase 3, you can pick you intensity back up, and hit the weight like you would normally. Also, you must wait 6 weeks before doing another phase 1 & 2, however some have had success in 4 to five weeks. I want to congratulate you on taking the hcg weight loss challenge, and I wish you continued success.

Sincerely,

Colin

Tips For Managing Cheating On The HCG Diet

Do not be afraid of cheating. You always have complete control whether you give into temptation or not. Just because someone else has cheated does not mean you will cheat as well. Many, many people have followed this plan without cheating, and you can too. Prepare yourself for the fact that you will *want* to cheat, but *acting* on the thought is solely your decision.

Expect to have cravings, be hungry, and moody and expect to want to cheat. These expectations will let you be prepared to control the cravings, hunger, moods and cheats. Prepare yourself for these feelings, but know that the decision to deviate is yours..........stay strong and remember that only you are accountable for everything you put into your mouth.

f you go forward and cheat, you will have to take responsibility for that cheat. It may leave you feeling guilty and unsatisfied. Cheating (even what may be perceived as just a small slip-up) is a mistake you will pay for up to 3-5 days. This can be 3 -5 days of the scale going up, or staying the same, potentially you could even gain more than if you were not on HCG. This makes cheating on this plan a waste of time and money.... NOT WORTH IT!

If you use food as an emotional crutch, you will find it difficult to cope without that crutch while on the 500 calories. You need to fill the empty spot with something healthy that you can enjoy both on and off the protocol. This will not only reduce cravings, but also help you maintain your healthy weight into the future. Some possibilities include crafting, painting, walking, gardening, reading, visiting with friends (encourage friends to be creative and find activities to enjoy together that do not revolve around food) Or reach out and call me for support.

To Your Success,

HCG Weight Loss Lessons From a Broken Escalator Commercial

I came across this Becel commercial over the weekend while I was waiting for my Yoga class to start. I was looking for new topics and HCg diet tips to send out this week.

At first, I wrote this off as a very interesting way to market margarine. Then I realized that there are actually a couple of pretty important weight loss success and leadership lessons hidden in this broken escalator commercial…
People who are serious about reaching their HCg weight loss goals take action instead of waiting for help to arrive.

Unfortunately, lots of people want the journey to body transformation success to be effortless, simple and smooth – kind of like riding an escalator. When their escalator breaks, they start stressing out, eating the wrong foods, and then wait for help to fall from the sky, instead of going back to their plan and eventually reaching their goal.

We’ve all felt like we were stuck at some point in our life. The difference between those who will succeed and those who won’t is simple…
Those who are successful in their weight loss goals take massive action, create an action plan for success, and follow it until they get that end result.

Obstacles as just opportunities in disguise.

They say you can always measure the character of a man or woman by the size of the obstacle it takes to overcome him or her. I sincerely believe that we are never faced with an obstacle that is impossible to overcome.

Obstacles come into our lives as gifts that are meant to refine our character. People who overcome obstacles in order to reach success experience a more fulfilling life and gain the ability to motivate others.
The next time you are facing a dieting obstacle, look at it as an opportunity to create and enhance your own success story. I promise it’ll make overcoming these obstacles a breeze!

And, if you ever find yourself stuck on a broken escalator, think of it as an opportunity to get some unexpected exercise…

What did you learn from this broken escalator commercial? I’d love to hear your answer below in the comments section.

HCg Diet Protocol Tips For Success From Other HCg Dieters

It is so difficult to do this diet and if you don't lose a pound a
day or at least measurable weight, you may give up. Well, don't
give up. Here are a bunch of ideas from you readers...

Julie says, "Wow, drinking a lot of green tea really works. Wish I
had done this before! I don't like lemon, but I like Lipton's Orange,
Passion fruit and Jasmine or Mandarin Orange."

Alice wrote, "I made one (vision board) in my large walk in closet
in my bedroom. I cut out things from articles from magazines to
Bible verses I had copied on paper and hung them on my wall.
Everyday when I am getting ready for work I look over the positive
words or pictures on my wall and just re-reading those things has
helped me to stay focused. I even keep a calendar in there that I
write my weight down on everyday so I can see where I was and here
I am now. It's very motivating."

"I feel like the Hcg has energized me to know I can do this and
still keep seeing results. I know to stay successful I have to
always have a vision of where I want to keep my weight maintained
at. It's the staying focused and positive attitude that will keep
your vision alive."

"I really like the Wish Bone brand Salad Spritzers. They are great
for flavor and only have 10 calories and 1 fat gram for every 10
sprays. I have found the balsamic and red wine vinaigrette taste
the best."

"C" wrote, "We DID have oranges back in the 50's. We DID have
broccoli and Cauliflower in the 50s. Dr. Simeons said (this I
read) that he found those items and many others that
self-proclaimed "experts" on the HCG diet have added in our
century, are not the BEST for his protocol. Sure you WILL lose
eating that stuff if you have over 40 lbs to lose, but you WILL
lose less. It is up to the individual person if they want to add
things NOT on his plan, thus loosing less weight. There are
people who lose 40 lbs on the 40 days, and these people were
actually only 40 lbs from their goal.... and lost it all in one
shot. I DOUBT they deviated from Dr. Simeons plan AT ALL. I know
the stupid oranges messed me up for 4 days and the 1.5 weeks
previous to that, I should have lost more if I had never touched
them. I lost better without them."

"C" continues,

"Dr. Simeons stated that he tried all the different vegetables and
fruits and found in his research, that the ONES HE LISTED are the
ones that NEVER EVER slowed the weigh loss down. Good enough for
me! He said the chemical composition of those foods facilitated
better weight loss. Just like we all KNOW that grapefruit helps
our bodies lose fat, that apples have so much fiber it is crazy and
that helps to "push it all through" and strawberries.... not sure
about that one, anyone? lol...... My point is, there are BOOKS and
DIET plans out there that talk about certain foods enabling us to
lose weight and they are correct. This we all know is fact! It is
fact that certain foods facilitate weight loss. For Dr. Simeons,
with the HCG, his food choices are narrower, but for a reason. Not
to make us suffer, but to get our butts back to where they
belong!... in a bikini! lol!! Funny, I think maybe Dr. Simeons
knew about this food thing way back in his day."

"Even when you follow his plan, sure you will plateau as you get
closer to your target weight, but that is because the old fat cells
are now holding water, then when the body consumes the fat cell....
YES, amazing, that it does do that!!! Something NO OTHER diet can
do! Other diets only flatten the fat cell... empty it, NOT destroy
it, which is why people gain weight back with other diets! :).....

"So after the plateau, the water the cell was holding is released
and the weight loss continues. (That is that night that you get up
and pee every 2 hours!)"

One more from "C", "Miracle Noodles are FINE in moderation, but an
area to look at if your weigh loss slows... mine never did but that
is MY body...... (it is all fiber no fat, no calories, no sugar
etc)....... Stevia is fine..... Sugar-free hard candy? WEll, I
think I remember Dr. Simeons mentioning a saccharine candy being
okay....... but we know this causes cancer... yikes! Again, your
choice. Personally, root-beer stevia drops in Club Soda is AWESOME
and allowed!"

Hope some of this helps. My favorite motivator is the book "Die Fat
or Get Tough." You can find it online as an ebook or at Amazon as a
physical book to order and get through the mail. Page 68. "Develop
a detailed emergency plan to handle sudden cravings. Don't allow
momentary desires to derail your diet due to inadequate
preparation."

It makes me think of the Olympics and how hard they struggle to win
that gold metal. The winners have figured out a way to work 100% on
their goals. They put everything into it and even put their lives on hold.

Also, in "Die Fat or Get Tough," page 39, "While fat people are
struggling at every meal deciding whether or not to remain
compliant, fit people waste no mental energy because the decision
has already been made."

Another, page 48, "Adopt the belief that 99% compliance is
complete failure of your diet. It's like saying you're 99% faithful
in your marriage. Only accept 100% compliance from yourself."

More quotes from Steve, Siebold. "Yo-yo dieters are slaves to
their emotions." He talks a great deal about how fit people eat and
think. "And it takes 21 days to establish new habits," but what
wonderful healthy eating habits you will have when you finish this
diet. I have found for myself, that once I am on the diet a few
weeks, it's like I'm on a roll. If I don't lose, I tweak what I am
doing, figure it out and make changes.

I also found even when not on the diet, that I gravitate to the
fresh raw vegetables and fresh raw fruits and take them in trays to
family gatherings now. They are very popular, so why does everyone
seem to want cake, pies and cookies? Or maybe it is just the people
I associate with. And part of the reason I got fat in the first place.

Susan wrote, "Go to the salad bar at your local grocery store, if
they have one, and get washed and ready spinach leaves, varieties
of lettuce, beet greens, cucumber, celery, onion, diced tomato and
anything else that appeals to you that is on the diet. It's fresh
and easy. Whole foods has a fresh salad bar, too, where you can do
easy take-out."

It is extremely helpful to keep a food diary. It you write down
everything you eat, you can go back and see what happened.
Sometimes it is not the previous day, but some small infraction two
days ago. It is also fun to look at the days that you lost so well
and be able to imitate them!

Hope this helps. Thanks for all the hints, everyone, and I'll have
more next time.

What exactly do I need to do to have the success that you did on the HCG diet?

What exactly do I need to do to have the success that you did on the HCG diet

Q: What exactly do I need to do to have the success that you did on the HCG diet. I'm am about to be starting. I know many people who have tried it and there wasn't a huge difference like what i can see if your pictures. I'm very motivated to start this HCG diet but i want to ensure that i have all the necessary tips and tools to be very successful in this. Thank you so much!
-Brittany

A: Hi Britney, thank you for your question, and compliment. I suggest the following for the best chance of success with the protocol.

1. Follow the diet to the letter! Do not substitute or make even the slightest changes
2. Read the entire Simeon's protocol from cover to cover... Especially the Q & A sections. This will save you from making critical mistakes and having to lose days of weight loss.
3. Moderate exercise, more for metal and emotional release than, fat burning needs.
4. Focus on the end result. If you need to buy a new bikini in your dream size, now... Then do it so you can stay focused.
5. Stay away from negative energy people and comments. Everyone has an opinion which is (Non of your business) lol
6. Trust the process, and just do it. Don't question why it works, or if it works, just know that it will. If you follow these simple rules, you will be AMAZED at who turns up in the mirror in a few short weeks.

I hope this helps! Good Luck and God Bless.

HCG Diet Hunger Pains...Is This Normal?

dealing with hunger pains on the hcg diet protocol.
Q.
THANK YOU FOR THE INFO. MY SISTER AND i STARTED TOGETHER ON SUNDAY. SO THIS IS OUR 3RD DAY I AM SOOO HUNGRY BUT I DIDNT BREAK MY DIET MY SISTER SAID SHE IS HUNGRY TOO! IS THIS NORMAL? I AM NOT GIVING UP NO MATTER WHAT. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

Lori

A.

Hi Lori, thank you for your email, and congratulation for taking the hcg challenge. The hunger will pass, most of it is psychological hunger pains, and will pass. If you find it to be really challenging, eat an additional small piece of protein late in the evening before bedtime. You body is adjusting the the callorie deficit, and will try and fool you into believing you starving... But you are not! Also drink a glass if water when you feel hungry, and see if it passes. Stick with it, you can do it. The end will definitely justify the means.

God Bless,

Colin
