The HCG Diet and Alcohol… Don’t Throw Your Weight Loss Dreams In Trunk Just Because You Get Drunk!

Recent studies have found that people who are under extreme amounts of stress or pressure may benefit from an alcohol drink at the end of the day, to help the body and mind unwind and relax. Even though the original HCG diet protocol does not allow alcohol, recent studies and feedback from HCD Diet Revealed readers whom have been drinkers, do surprisingly well on the HCG diet.

When diet instructions are followed correctly, the HCG diet has broken their drinking routine. These participants have even said that they do not feel the need to drink while on the HCG diet. This may be due to the absence of the alcohol cravings (due to the HCG working in conjunction with the hypothalamus gland which controls the emotional eating and drinking part of the brain.)

When on the HCG diet a user, who usually has a higher intake of alcohol, may find that a relatively small amount of alcohol produces a euphoric intoxication feeling. While on the HCG diet, we have had many participants whom have consumed a small amount of alcohol, (i.e) glass of vodka and mineral water with a bit of lemon (or vodka and 8 oz of fresh orange juice, this juice will count as one of your servings of juice) and still lost weight, during the initial weight loss phase.

I have received countless emails from HCG dieters whom have been derailed from their HCG diet goals due to and office party or luncheon. Therefore knowing in advance that, having an occasional alcohol beverage in extreme moderation, doesn’t mean you need to throw in the towel and quit dieting.

Dr. A.T.W Simeons does allow for a glass (8 oz) of wine with dinner during the maintenance phase of the diet (after you stop taking HCG). During the initial weight loss phase of the HCG diet be sure to check sugar content of alcohol, the less the better. Of course, we must say that if you do decide to drink while doing the HCG diet, just be aware that you may have lost more if you did not drink. However, if you find your alcohol intake to be extreme, and want to stop drinking, this is an opportune time to time to stop, because it will now be easier than ever according to many HCG Diet users.

Weight Stabilization & Maintenance Phase 3 of HCG Diet

Weight Stabilization & Maintenance Phase 3 of HCG Diet

Duration: This phase is 3-6 weeks

I have received numerous email about how to implement phase 3 the maintenance phase
for optimum results. Here are some tips to insure your weight stabilizes during this time.

• Importance: This phase involves stabilizing your body’s metabolism at your new weight. This phase is just as important as the Fat Burning phase. You want to reset your metabolism at your new weight, so that your body does not fluctuate up or down on the scale. If you still need to lose more weight you may do a second round of HCG after this phase is completed.

• You must weigh yourself every morning as soon as you rise, but after you have urinated.

• Eat three meals a day. You may increase your meals in size and quantity, as long as
you follow the rules below.

• Eat an adequate amount of daily calories to maintain weight.

ALL STARCHES AND SUGARS ARE AVOIDED FOR FIRST 3 WEEKS!!!!!

Avoid: sugar, breads, pastas, starchy vegetables (all potatoes, corn, dense squashes, carrots, and beets), rice, wheat, cereals, noodles, barley, any kind of flour, rye, food starch, etc. Beware of processed foods, because many will contain starches and sugars.

• Add in other veggies, and you may eat a variety of veggies in the same meal.

• Add in other fruits, except very sugary fruits (bananas, grapes, and any dried fruits).

• Add in fats and dairy products. Avocados, nuts, olive oils, good fats (like fatty fish), butter, cheese, and so on can be eaten at any meal.

Supplements: During this stage supplements are added in. Now that you are not burning your body’s fat cells with stored nutrients, you need to supply your body with vitamins and minerals to function properly.

- EFA’s – essential fatty acids (EFA’s) are necessary for many functions in our bodies. They support everything from our skin and hair to our brain; our body needs a certain amount each and every day. If you do not eat the right amount per day, your body will cause you to crave fatty foods until you have met your body’s needs Taking a supplement is an easy way to meet your body’s needs, and to help curb unnecessary cravings for fatty foods.

- Multivitamin – a multivitamin will provide you with a portion of all of the vitamins and minerals you need for a healthy body. The food we eat may not contain the right amounts of vitamins and minerals, and it is always a good to supplement with a multivitamin.

- Enzymes – digestive enzymes help to break down food we eat. They can aid in digesting food, and help our bodies readjust to food we have not eaten for awhile.

Tips For Managing Cheating On The HCG Diet

Do not be afraid of cheating. You always have complete control whether you give into temptation or not. Just because someone else has cheated does not mean you will cheat as well. Many, many people have followed this plan without cheating, and you can too. Prepare yourself for the fact that you will *want* to cheat, but *acting* on the thought is solely your decision.

Expect to have cravings, be hungry, and moody and expect to want to cheat. These expectations will let you be prepared to control the cravings, hunger, moods and cheats. Prepare yourself for these feelings, but know that the decision to deviate is yours..........stay strong and remember that only you are accountable for everything you put into your mouth.

f you go forward and cheat, you will have to take responsibility for that cheat. It may leave you feeling guilty and unsatisfied. Cheating (even what may be perceived as just a small slip-up) is a mistake you will pay for up to 3-5 days. This can be 3 -5 days of the scale going up, or staying the same, potentially you could even gain more than if you were not on HCG. This makes cheating on this plan a waste of time and money.... NOT WORTH IT!

If you use food as an emotional crutch, you will find it difficult to cope without that crutch while on the 500 calories. You need to fill the empty spot with something healthy that you can enjoy both on and off the protocol. This will not only reduce cravings, but also help you maintain your healthy weight into the future. Some possibilities include crafting, painting, walking, gardening, reading, visiting with friends (encourage friends to be creative and find activities to enjoy together that do not revolve around food) Or reach out and call me for support.

To Your Success,

How Should I Approach This Protocol To Maximize My Results?

HCG Diet Revaled Q & A

How Should I Approach This Protocol To Maximize My Results?

Q: Hello Colin! My name is Laeeq and I have watched your youtube videos and subscribed to your newsletter/email. I am a veteran of the US. Army and was in for about six years..from 2000-2006. Needless to say I was in fairly decent shape, but my weight was still not as it should be and I always have a problem with maintaining it even though we used to run miles and miles per day. Anyways, I have heard countless great things about this HCG protocol and I have also ordered the HCG + 43day Kit along with it and I am waiting for it to arrive. Although I am still skeptical but hopeful at the same time. I just wanted to ask you about what you recommend about how i should approach this protocol to maximize my results and also If i can actually play some basketball or some activity may be even lift light weights during this time? I really appreciate the help sir.

Thank You

Laeeq

A: Hello Laeeq, thank you for writing me. I understand your skepticism, because I was very skeptical myself before doing the protocol. I recommend following the Simeons diet protocol to the letter. If you do this, I can guarantee you will drop weight faster than you ever thought possible. I also recommend taking the phase 1 load days very seriously, and gorge, gorge, gorge. This is crucial for success. By all means play basket ball, and mild weight lifting is ok, if you begin to feel tired or hungry, you'll need to cut it back a bit. Otherwise... commit to completing the hcg protocol with integrity, and you will be amazed with your results.

Take care brother, you'll do great. Feel free to call me or email me anytime for further assistance.

Three HCG Diet Phase 1 Tips for Success

Understanding the purpose of Phase 1 is very important and is the key to a smooth transition into Phase 2 of the HCG diet (the low calorie portion of the diet).
Phase one is what is fondly called the “Binge Phase.” It lasts for two days, during which you take your HCG injection or 5mL of Sub-lingual HCG drops two times a day but also eat whatever you want, particularly things that are high in fat.

It may sound counterproductive but what you’re doing is filling your normal fat cells to capacity so that you have more nutrients available to the body during phase 2. This helps alleviate hunger, particularly at the beginning when it’s most common. This is a crucial time because your body is taking the HCG into the bloodstream and sending a signal to your body that the fat-loss process is beginning.

Many people have a tendency to skip this phase in fear that they may gain a couple of pounds. The reality is that any weight gain made in the binge period will be lost within the first 48 hours of phase 2. Don’t worry! Although some people gain as much as 6-7 pounds in phase 1, this new weight is lost in the first day or two of phase 2.

Tips For Success In Phase 1 Of The HCG Diet

1. Enjoy The Binge – During these two days eat the foods that you know you’ll miss the most during Phase 2.

2. Take Acetyl L-Carnitine – This is an amino acid that helps convert fat into fuel. It helps prevent muscle tissue from being lost and promotes lean muscle mass. It also helps to increase your metabolism and helps your body burn fat.

3. Eat 5-6 Meals Per Day – When you eat several meals throughout the day it keeps your metabolism running high and helps to release abnormal fat reserves. The HCG will start working with the release of these fats which kick-starts the whole process.

Good Luck on the diet and stay focuses and committed … keep your end result in mind.

HCG Weight Loss Lessons From a Broken Escalator Commercial

I came across this Becel commercial over the weekend while I was waiting for my Yoga class to start. I was looking for new topics and HCg diet tips to send out this week.

At first, I wrote this off as a very interesting way to market margarine. Then I realized that there are actually a couple of pretty important weight loss success and leadership lessons hidden in this broken escalator commercial…
People who are serious about reaching their HCg weight loss goals take action instead of waiting for help to arrive.

Unfortunately, lots of people want the journey to body transformation success to be effortless, simple and smooth – kind of like riding an escalator. When their escalator breaks, they start stressing out, eating the wrong foods, and then wait for help to fall from the sky, instead of going back to their plan and eventually reaching their goal.

We’ve all felt like we were stuck at some point in our life. The difference between those who will succeed and those who won’t is simple…
Those who are successful in their weight loss goals take massive action, create an action plan for success, and follow it until they get that end result.

Obstacles as just opportunities in disguise.

They say you can always measure the character of a man or woman by the size of the obstacle it takes to overcome him or her. I sincerely believe that we are never faced with an obstacle that is impossible to overcome.

Obstacles come into our lives as gifts that are meant to refine our character. People who overcome obstacles in order to reach success experience a more fulfilling life and gain the ability to motivate others.
The next time you are facing a dieting obstacle, look at it as an opportunity to create and enhance your own success story. I promise it’ll make overcoming these obstacles a breeze!

And, if you ever find yourself stuck on a broken escalator, think of it as an opportunity to get some unexpected exercise…

What did you learn from this broken escalator commercial? I’d love to hear your answer below in the comments section.

Seven SecretsTo Increase Your HCg Fat Loss

I have received a bunch of emails from people with questions about how to increase their weight loss on the HCg Diet. They appear to be following the diet perfectly, and yet their weight is stalling or in a plateau stage. If you fall within this group of people, I have a few things for you to try. Some of you might have heard these suggestions before and for some these might be new to you.

1) Are you getting enough fiber?

These are some of the things I did when I completed the protocol the first time and lost 42 pounds in 43 days. I ate a huge salad, of all kinds of lettuce on a plate. I covered it with spinach leaves, sliced radishes, chopped onions, cucumbers, and diced tomato. You can use celery, cabbage, or asparagus, too. If you go to www.fitday.com you can see that salads are extremely low in calories and have virtually no fat. They are ALMOST FREE FOOD. You can top this with grilled or broiled chicken. I season chicken with blackened chicken seasoning or Cajun seasoning. You can substitute chicken, beef, or fish, with grilled or broiled shrimp or a sliced hard boiled egg.

Top all this with apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper which kick start you metabolism. Some HCg dieters have used fat free balsamic vinaigrette, Maple Farms brand, which you can get from (Wal-Mart) and it has only 1 carb. This all makes quite a meal and helps you feel more satisfied and it really helps you lose.

If you really want to lose fat as fast as possible, then I suggest you eat a big salad every single day. Have it at lunch time, if you can, salads help to flush out fat. If you top it with a fat burner like apple cider vinegar, it works even better. Or eat the salad with lemon juice and spices. Spices also help with hunger, even if it is just salt and pepper.

2) I've mentioned it before and I'll suggest it again. If you are having trouble losing, try cutting out all sweeteners for a few days and see if you drop the weight. Stevia seems to be fine for some, but not others.

If you really want to meet your goal at the end of the month, just try giving up bread sticks or Melba crackers for a few days, you should experience some real improvement. By giving up artificial sweeteners and bread sticks, this alone can only help to increase you weight loss. Sweeteners and bread stimulate an insulin response which tells the body to hold onto fat and when you stimulate extra insulin in the body, it also increases appetite.

3) Green tea is awesome on this diet; it has caffeine to give you energy and if you drink a lot, it also acts as a diuretic which helps release fat from the body. The only way to get fat out of the body is to flush it out with water or green tea. If you are one who thinks you can't stomach green tea, try orange flavor, it is really surprisingly good hot.

4) Consider having one meal a day as fat free as possible. This means fish or shrimp or lobster. If you aren't a fish lover, see if you like it broiled with a fat free barbecue sauce. You can find it at health food stores or online. Or make your own. Or you might like a blackened chicken seasoning or Cajun seasoning. If you still think you can't eat it, I found that shrimp on a salad tastes quite a lot like chicken, especially after you put on dressing. And the fat grams are 1-2 in a serving versus 4-5 fat grams in chicken.

5) Broil or grill your chicken in such a way that the fat can drip out. Use a drip pan in the oven. The less fat in, the more fat out, meaning the more you lose weight.

6) Try not to eat any larger portions than Dr. Simeons allowed in Pounds and Inches. Be sure to eat only 3.5 ounces of chicken, which is actually about 2/3 less after cooking. And if you are eating beef, which is really difficult for losing in the US, then try giving it up for 3 days and see if it helps. Most women do not lose weight well eating beef. It is very hard to eat any beef and have 5 grams or less fat in a serving. Most beef starts at 9 grams and goes up easily to 18 grams in one 3.5 ounce serving.

7) If you are tempted to not eat both fruits, please keep in mind, that the ones on Dr. Simeons' food list are high in potassium and it helps you flush out fat and fluids. Potassium also helps you avoid headaches and leg cramps. You can also take one potassium pill morning and evening for leg cramps. Someone suggested she loves putting cinnamon on grapefruit and broiling it. I had only put it on apples before, so I'll pass that on to anyone who wants to try it. So eat fruit. Fruit also is high in vitamin C which I'll remind you is excellent for the skin.

Anyway, I hope you implement these tips, and start dropping pounds and inches.

Love and light

HCG Diet Revealed Weight Loss Programs’ Three Phases – Made Easy

While you are understandably excited at the prospect of losing forty to eighty pounds with the help of the HCG hormone, it’s important to do your homework and make certain that you fully understand the HCG weight loss programs‘ three phases as outlined in Dr. Simeons’ protocols. Trained in and having spent his entire life studying and treating the human endocrine system, Dr. Albert Simeons long ago determined the best way to make the most of this remarkable hormone in treating one of the most frustrating conditions most human beings must deal with – excess pounds of ugly fat.

The HCG fat loss method consists of three distinct phases. Each one must be followed closely, and in order. Those who fail at the HCG diet are usually those who skip one of these steps, or do not follow the directions exactly.
At this point, you should download Dr. Simeons’ study, Pounds and Inches: A New Approach to Obesity. It is free of charge (you may need to get Adobe Acrcobat Reader, which is also free to download.)

Phase One: Time To Get Ready

Phase One of the HCG diet is preparation; you want to get your metabolism going as fast as you can in order to optimize the rate of fat burn during the next phase. In order to do this, you will need to indulge yourself in the most gluttonous, hedonistic way possible for your first two days on HCG. Omelets cooked in butter, rich pasta swimming in full-fat cream sauce, thick juicy steaks topped with mushroom gravy, fruit pie a la mode – go for it… The sky is the limit during this time!

And enjoy it… it will be your last (for a while, at least – unless like many people after successfully completing the HCG program, you decide you don’t crave these foods any more).

Phase Two: The 500-Calorie, Fat-Free Diet

The next forty days or so, you will be eating the equivalent of a handful of each allowed food groups on the diet, and you’ll be spreading those calories over the course of the day.

The good news is that it’s very simple. Coffee or tea in the morning (no sugar), and you’re ready to go. Lunch is a piece of lean meat (preferably buffalo rather than beef) and a vegetable that grows above ground, and supper is a chicken breast or a piece of broiled, deep-sea fish and a different specific vegetable. (See Simeons Protocol) You can also have a grapefruit or an apple, and switch the proteins between lunch and dinner if you like. In fact, it is important to eat something different at each meal in order to keep your system guessing – and thus drawing on those excess fat reserves.

Phase Three – Time To Wind Things Down

You’ll stop taking HCG on around day forty, but continue with the 500-calorie diet for about three days to allow the HCG to clear out of your system. Gradually, you can return to eating regular meals, but don’t start in on carbs until week three – after which you can gradually add these to your diet again.

HCG Diet Revealed Testimonials

Hello Colin,

I hope that this testimony will be an eye opener for a lot of people. I started thinking of how I would loose 50 lbs by my 30th birthday. I said to myself "you have been over weight for the majority of your 20's, this is enough." My neighbor told me about the Hcg diet several months before and I thought "I'm Defiantly not doing that." Well after seeing her several months later 30 lbs lighter, well the rest is history. Like many others I thought "you can't loose that much weight in so few days, I don't want to take anything that comes from India, that can't be healthy, what's the catch."

Well I started this protocol on February 1st and I was 190 lbs after my two load days (186 before) I stopped on March 5th and I was 170. I decided to take a break because I felt myself getting weaker and weaker; I'm speaking in terms of the cravings. I am starting the protocol again tomorrow and I am still at 170, I have maintained my weight. I will go 23 days this time and take a break for my son's birthday. I'm also excited because my husband is joining me this time! After my week break for my son's birthday I will go another 23 days and then off to maintenance and toning.

I started the first round with my sister in-law so we had each other to lean on. But Colin's post helped me more than anything. To have the support of someone who knows exactly where you are and what you are going through is great. I learned so much by reading his post as well as gained some much needed encouragement. I suggest anyone who is starting this diet to read his post as well as watch his you tube video's. I have to say as I was on the fence about starting the protocol his you tube video really hit home for me.

I urge anyone who has tried everything (as I have in the past) to try this protocol...YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. It's the most inexpensive diet that I have tried, as well as the most effective. THIS IS NOT A FAD....

Yours Truly,

Kim H

The HCG diet was the best diet i have ever tried. at 18 years old i lost 21 pounds in 21 days! what i loved most about the diet was that the weight came off of everywhere. my face, arms, legs, and tummy. and when i completed it after 42 full days my body didn't even want sugar, or junk food. If you want to lose the weight bad enough, this is so worth it! However, you have to want to lose the weight! and be ready for the challenge! the results are amazing!

Vanessa W.

I am about to finish my first round of hcg which I started Feb 17 and will stop taking on March 26, finish my last 3 days and start on the next phase of the diet on March 30. So far I have stayed right with the protocol and have lost 19.4 lbs and hoping to loose at total of 25 lbs when I end this round.

I am taking the hcg sublingually. It has been a challenge for me as I have dealt with low blood sugar problems almost the entire time. I have really had to manage of my protein consumption so that I do not have severe drops in blood sugar.

That being said; I believe it is more important than ever to loose the weight at this point in my life. I am a 47 yr. female with a family history of diabetes, and for my health I have chosen to make this a priority in my life even though it has not always been easy.

For the last 1.5 years I have put on weight that I simply could not loose no matter what I tried. Then I found out about hcg from a friend who gets hers through a clinic which I could not afford. That started my search on the web. I researched for 2 months and after discussing with my own doctor decided this was right for me and I am very pleased with my decision. I believe it has change my life in more ways than I will ever really know.

I plan to try the injections on my next round and hope to loose another 25 lbs. At that point I will discuss with my doctor if I should continue to loose or maintain. I will be at 132 lbs which based on my height and age is right where I should be.

For anyone questioning if this would work for them, I would say YES!!! and get connected with web sites like Colin's. It has helped me in many ways. There were days that were tough for me and so I read something almost every day that was encouraging and helped me get through. It has been a critical part of my weight loss and I am very grateful for this resource.

Thanks from,
One happy girl

Hey Colin- I follow your blog and watched your youtube videos. Thanks so much for having all that out there, but can I ask you a question. I am hoping I didn't sabotage myself tonight on protocol, I am on day 20 of P2 and I broke down and had a shot of tequila. Do you think it will make me stall, I am down 15 lbs and I am doing 40 days and really was shooting for 30.

Just thought you might know from experience or from other's experience.
Thanks,
Kelli

Hey Colin

I'm still on P2 and half way though, I have been stalling for about 5 days now. I really thinks its because i haven't drank as much water as i'm suppose to, or its just my body trying to catch up with itself. I'm on Day 19 and have lost a total of 15.6 pounds. My weight hasn't changed in the last 5 days. I did a apple day but it only brought me down one pound! Which i gain right back the next day! I know it was just extra access water! But i will be writing u from time to time and letting you know how i'm doing! I'm just hoping i get over this stall pretty soon! I heard some people have stalled for more than ten days! I don't want to be that person! But i have took before pictures and once i finish i will take the after pictures and i will send them to you!

God Bless,
Charlotte

HCG Diet Food Choices… Are Your Choices That Limited?

When following Dr. Simeons’ protocol the HCG diet protocol, your food choices might appear slightly limited. After all, you will be ingesting around 500 calories a day, which forces your body to release between 1,500 – 2,500 or more calories every day compulsory excess fat stores. The other part of the equation (other than HCG itself) is the types of foods you eat to provide your body with the required 500 calories. These have been identified as the foods that will return you to your natural weight set point.

The Importance of Food Quality...

Some say that it is critical that the foods you do eat must be pristine and organic. The reason for this argument is partly due to the chemical adulterants, preservatives and pesticides found in many commercially processed foods. Research has been shown that these chemicals are some of the main causes which depleted our body’s natural supply of HCG in the first place. Although the most people will lose weight without eating organically; organic HCG dieting appears to deliver better overall weight loss results than chemically process foods.

Getting Started On Tthe HCG Diet...

In the morning you’ll be limited to unsweetened, organic black coffee or solid tea ( one table spoon of milk is allowed however, cream is not an option). You have a couple of options when it comes to tea:

Again, it is critical that the water used has been filtered and purified to remove any contaminants such as chlorine or fluoride, both of that are common in typical city water supplies.

Let’s Do (Lunch And Dinner...

When designing his program, Dr. Simeons identified pure proteins that aid in restoring balance to the body. These lean meats should be of the organic free-range type whenever possible, Free-range, organic beef which are accessible at featured item in most whole Foods grocery stores and can be more costly than its conventionally counterpart.

The other protein options are fish, shrimp, lobster, but you need to avoid types of fish that are high in mercury like, deep-sea cold-water fish such as salmon tuna or Icelandic cod.

Of course, you will need your assisting of fruits and vegetables as well. Along with your beef serving, you can select any one of the following:

Remember not to add any kind of fat (such as butter or oil) nor grill these foods. They can be either grilled, boiled, oven baked or steamed.

Fruit choices include...

You must not add sugar to the apples, strawberries or grapefruit however Stevia is a great replacement.

It is also recommended that like your meat, poultry and fish, that your fruit and vegetables be organic as well whenever possible.

Something to Remember...

It’s undeniably critical to make sure that your diet is amply diverse from one day to the next. For example, if you eat Chilean Sea bass and spinach for lunch; you’ll want to have chicken and cucumbers for dinner, and then maybe, beef and tomatoes for lunch the following day.

Because your body is burning fat at a supernatural rate, you should not be feeling excessive hunger, notwithstanding the minuscule amounts you are authorized to eat. If you do feel hungry however, feel free to drink more green tea, wu long tea, and water and cut back on ant excess exercise.

What Is Acceptable Exercise While On The hCG Diet?

The hCG diet is a weight loss program which has helped many people lose a large amount of weight. Exercising in combination with the hCG diet can be beneficial only under certain circumstances.

Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone that used to help increase weight lose during the hCG diet. The hCG hormone is naturally produced by the cells that make up the placenta and later by the placenta during pregnancy. hCG helps support the pregnancy by producing progesterone. This helps the development of the placenta during the early stages of pregnancy.

Few expecting mothers realize that pregnancy; offers a huge window of opportunity to lose unwanted fat while bringing their new child into the world. Simply by reducing their calorie intake while having an extremely high level of hCG in their system, a newly expecting mother can actually burn unwanted fat during the pregnancy process.

The hCG Diet Protocol…

The hCG diet is designed to aid in the rapid fat loss.. It increases the body's metabolism so that it can burn fat at a very fast pace. The hCG hormone can be administered through injection or droplets that are placed under the tongue. Once the diet begins, a strict diet of 500 calories must be followed. A person can lose up to a pound or two a day. The hormone causes the body to release and burn approximately 3,500 calories a day.

The hCG diet has s very strict protocol that must be followed. Some of the rules include the absence of make up, lotions, oils, and what types of foods that can be eaten. In this article you will learn about exercise during the hCG diet.

Exercising while on the hCG Diet…

Strenuous exercise during the hCG diet is not recommended for several reasons. The first reason being, the patient is only consuming 500 calories a day which may not substantial enough to be able to accommodate any type of strenuous workout while consuming such a small amount of food.

Although strenuous exercise needs to be avoided, light cardiovascular exercise is permitted. Taking casual walks or a light jogs on a treadmill is allowed but not for a long periods of time 45 minutes should be your maximum time limit. Burning too many calories will lead to excess hunger; exhaustion and low blood sugar; all of which can drain your energy.

Another reason a person should not perform overly strenuous exercises is because of the science of the diet. The hCG can only burn fat. When any type of strength building exercises are done, the body may form new lean muscle and the hCG will not be able to burn it off. The hCG does not work on lean muscle, but only body fat which means, scale may not be able to accurately reflect your weight loss

Exercise after the hCG Diet phase three…

Once a person finishes the hCG diet, they can resume a normal exercise routine in phase three. Daily exercise is important when trying to maintain your weight. And build lean muscle. It is better to start with easier exercises at first until the body regains strength and is used to exercising again. Gradually increase the intensity levels of your workouts will produce leaner muscles, and help your body stabilize your new weight set point.
